Martha Trust - 2009

The Martha Trust annual golf event 2009 in association with TheKnowList was held this year for the first time at Chart Hills Golf and Country Club near Biddenden Kent. The day attracted 64 players plus a few celebrities and was hosted by Derek Underwood MBE.

This year The Martha Trust who provide permanent homes and respite care for severely disabled children and young adults in Kent and East Sussex, invited The Stars Foundation for Cerebral Palsy to join them. This is the 5th year the event has run and despite the world recession raised a record amount of £10,012. Chris Prier who organises the event with The Martha Trust said:

I am really pleased this is the first time we have broken the £10k barrier, Chart Hills is a fantastic club and course, all the players had a wonderful day and were very generous”.
